The Wallonia Public Service (SPW), through its Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Environment Department, has launched a brand-new tool to help citizens better understand, protect, and promote biodiversity!
More than just a technical update, this site embodies the SPW's long-term commitment to providing accessible, reliable, and useful public information to all stakeholders involved in biodiversity.
This new, modernized, secure, and enhanced portal now brings together information from the two former sites: the Biodiversity portal and the Ecosystem Services site.
A tool for everyone
The content, structure, and user experience have been redesigned and are aimed at both an informed audience (research departments, naturalists, government agencies, teachers, farmers) and anyone curious to better understand the issues related to biodiversity in Wallonia.
An evolving tool
The portal will be regularly updated over the coming months. During this transition phase, some content still links to the old version of the portal, which remains accessible online to ensure continuity of access to information.
